In the process of solar photovoltaic power generation, the current generated by the battery pack is DC rather than general AC, which has limited application scope and cannot be directly connected to the grid. Therefore, an inverter is required to convert DC to AC. The PV inverter is one of the core components of the PV power generation system. Although the cost of the whole power generation system accounts for less than 10%, the inverter performance directly determines the stability and efficiency of the PV power generation.
According to different application scenarios, inverters can be divided into centralized, series and micro inverters. The centralized inverter is mainly used for large and medium-sized photovoltaic power generation systems in desert and plateau; Series and micro inverters are mainly used in small and medium-sized photovoltaic power generation systems such as residential buildings, commercial roofs and farms. With the rapid growth of the distributed photovoltaic market, the market share of the string inverter is 66.5% and that of the centralized inverter is about 28.5%.
